A humanitarian, social restoration and community empowerment organization dedicated to transforming lives with love and purpose.

Who we are

Kwagala means love — and love must be practical.

Kwagala Restoration Foundation is built on the belief that true love responds to suffering, restores dignity, protects the vulnerable and creates opportunities for people to live purposeful lives.

KRF works with vulnerable women, children, youth, disadvantaged families, widows, single mothers, teenage mothers, orphans, school dropouts, youth affected by substance abuse and communities experiencing poverty and social exclusion.

Our background

Addressing immediate needs and root causes

Many vulnerable families experience hardship caused by poverty, unemployment, lack of skills, family breakdown, child neglect, domestic violence, poor healthcare access, homelessness, school dropout and limited opportunities.

Women are often the backbone of families, yet many vulnerable women struggle to provide for their households due to lack of income, capital, skills, markets and social support. Children from poor and unstable families are at risk of dropping out of school, child labour, child marriage, abuse, neglect and exploitation.

Many youth in ghettos, streets, slums and disadvantaged communities are exposed to drug abuse, crime, violence, hopelessness and unsafe living conditions. KRF was founded to provide an integrated solution combining love, empowerment, education, rehabilitation, protection, healthcare awareness, agriculture, skills development and community support.

A message from the Chief Executive Officer

Dear Partners, Friends, Supporters and Well-wishers, on behalf of Kwagala Restoration Foundation, I warmly welcome you to our platform and to the mission of transforming lives with love and purpose.

KRF was born out of a deep burden to respond to the suffering of vulnerable women, children, youth and disadvantaged families. We believe that love must go beyond words. True love must restore dignity, create opportunities, protect children, empower women, guide young people and strengthen families.

At KRF, we do not believe in creating dependency. We believe in empowerment. Our goal is to help vulnerable people become productive, independent, confident and self-sustaining.
